Eight years ago I arrived by chance at a semi-abandoned village of Abruzzo, Santo Stefano di Sessanio. I was lost on the dirt roads around Rocca di Calascio. Everything stayed still like in the past. Only the stone village that merged with a rural landscape full of signs of ancient and neglected practices. I was struck on the way to Damascus.
